06/13/2015 - ''Menta'' Vice World Winner 2015 !!!

...After having won the bitches open class with Menta "CH-Menta de Kabluna" against 14 other dogs in the ring, we surrendered in the tie breaker against the champions class winning bitch. When you lose against a dog that has won the best of breed title you can only stand and applause, even more If this dog belongs to my great friends CijaraMalamutes Alicia Serna Sancho and David Gonzalez Frutos, so double conpliments for them. Finding myself in the ring against Alicia in a world championship final has been an awesome experience. Congrats again my friend!!!
Well done, but winning a class in the world dog show, earning a CAC and a RESERVE CACIB, doesn't happen every day...my heart was beating hard before entering the ring for the final judgement...the emotion of hearing the crowd around the ring cheering and applausing you and your dog is something difficult to explain.
Clearly i should thank a million people but i have to start from Josè Jose Iglesias and Gemma Arias and Alejandra, from kabluna kennel, Menta's breeders, for these three days spent together sharing results and fun not only in the ring.
A special thank goes to my family and in particular to Elvira, my wife, at home checking the results online.
Menta has been our best result during the show, but not the only positive one...my other pride has been Chico "Starring-Maat Knockout" , being 4 exc between 15 male in the ring. I love this dog and i'm pretty sure we will be very satisfied with his results. Thanks to the Strano family, expecially to Concetto and Gianmarco Strano, for their sacrifices and the constant diligence eith Chico...we expect new great results with him.
Another awesome result comes from our friends Roberta Suberati and Andrea Lucchesi with their Shanty " CH-Starring-Maat Give me a dream", 4 exc in a very strong champion class female, with 15 dogs in the ring, thank you So much guys.
Thanks a lot to Marco Belardi and Kety Parpinelli with Roy "Starring-Maat Crown Royal" exc in champion Class male.
And Last but not least my beloved Eto'o "Multi CH Starring-Maat Manaki's" just got back home from Canada for the world dog show. He was not in great conditions but in spite of everything Eto'o is always Eto'o, he was shortlisted in the first eight of an impressive 17 dogs champions class.
I want to share all these emotions with Stephanie Wilkins with whom Eto'o has spent the last 10 months in Canada. Thanks to Barbara Bernardos for perfectly showing him in the ring on my behalf, remembering when she used to play with him in Spain when he was a young dog.
Now it's time to go back home and enjoy my family and start preparing next show...see you Milan!!!
